Joanne

Victim Focus Officer

Swansea, Neath Port Talbot

Joanne has recently joined the Victim Support Team for Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot as Victim Focus Officer. Previously to this she worked for Action for Children in Swansea supporting young parents aged 14-25 and their children. Joanne is a Nationally Qualified Youth Worker and has a particular passion for supporting young people as well as those with mental health issues. She looks forward to using these skills in her new role supporting victims of crime.

Sarah works as a Victim Focus Officer in the Merthyr area. Sarah recently joined the team and is enjoying building her caseload and supporting victims from various crimes. Sarah is motivated by the challenges the job brings and is looking forward to gaining experience in this area. Sarah is person orientated and enjoys supporting people to achieve their potential. In the past, Sarah has worked in mental health and drug and alcohol support, she then went onto complete two years with a long haul airline as Cabin Crew. Sarah is looking forward the prospects a supportive role has to offer again

Vickey

Victim Focus Officer

Vickey is a Victim Focus Officer and first joined Victim Support in 2016. Vickey graduated from University of South Wales with a Criminology and Criminal Justice degree, and is currently studying a Master’s degree in Psychology. Vickey has a background of providing support to victims and vulnerable older adults in previous roles. Her role is to provide initial support and conduct needs assessments with victims of crime to ensure appropriate support can be put in place.
